Who we are
Al-Amthal Law Firm for Legal Consultancy & Studies is responsible for the personal data collected through this website. Our head office is at 18 Anwar El Mofty St, off Abbas El Akkad St, Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt. We also have offices in Kuwait and Dubai.
We apply Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020. Where an enquiry concerns our Kuwait or Dubai office, we also follow the applicable data protection rules there, including, in the UAE, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.
Information we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us. This site has no accounts, newsletter or analytics.
- Contact form: your name, phone number, email address, the office you are interested in, and your message.
- Phone, email and WhatsApp: your number or address, and what you tell us.
- Technical data: like any website, our host receives your IP address and browser details when you open a page, only to deliver the site and keep it secure.
How we use your information
We use your details to answer your enquiry and, if you ask, arrange a consultation. We do not sell your data, use it for marketing or build profiles about you.
Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you send the form or contact us. If you then instruct us, we also process it to prepare an engagement and to meet our legal and professional duties. You may withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect earlier processing.
Who processes it
These providers handle data for us:
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website and delivers each contact form message to us by email.
- Our email provider, Google (Gmail), receives those messages and stores our email correspondence.
- WhatsApp, if you contact us that way, under its own terms and privacy policy.
Transfers outside Egypt
The servers of Cloudflare and Google may be outside Egypt, for example in the United States or the European Union, so your data may be transferred abroad. We rely on your consent for this transfer and use providers that apply recognised security standards.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as we need it to answer your enquiry. If the enquiry becomes a client matter, we keep the file for as long as professional record keeping rules require. Enquiries that do not lead to a matter are deleted once we no longer need them.
Confidentiality
We treat every enquiry confidentially. However, sending a message through this site, by email or by WhatsApp does not create a lawyer-client relationship.
Please do not send confidential or sensitive details through the form. A short description is enough. Once we agree to act, we will tell you how to share documents safely.
Data protection and security
This site is served over HTTPS. Enquiries are handled only by the firm and the providers listed above. Still, no website or email service is completely secure.
Your rights
To use any of these rights, email sayed.mfarghaly@gmail.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity and will reply within the time limits set by law. You have the right to:
- know whether we hold data about you, and get a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted, unless the law requires us to keep it;
- withdraw your consent at any time;
- complain to the Personal Data Protection Center in Egypt, or to the data protection authority where you live, if you are not satisfied with our reply.
Third-party links
This site links to services we do not control, such as Google Maps and WhatsApp. When you follow such a link, that service's own terms and privacy policy apply.
Cookies
This site uses no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. However:
- Fonts: the site loads its fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google's servers to fetch them, so Google receives your IP address.
- Language choice: your browser may save your language choice in its local storage. This is not a cookie. It stays on your device, is not sent to us, and you can clear it in your browser settings.

We may update this policy when the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
